Thenford Arboretum and Gardens, Oxfordshire

Time of departure 8am and return to Bristol by 6pm

Cost £71.50 per person to include refreshments on arrival and a ploughman's style lunch with additional salads and dessert .

We have arranged an exclusive, private visit to the arboretum and gardens at Thenford, home of Michael and Anne Heseltine. The 70 acre arboretum features more than three thousand different trees and shrubs, together with extensive herbaceous borders, water gardens, an alpine trough garden, a sculpture garden, a rose garden and a rill. The medieval fish ponds and their interconnecting canal have been restored. There will be an introductory talk and then we are free to wander the grounds at leisure before lunch.
