Visit the famous Palm and Alpine Houses and the Rock, Bamboo, Japanese, Grass, Kitchen, Queen’s and Rose Gardens. It’s the most biodiverse place on earth!

We visit the historic and picturesque market town of Usk where 12 or more private gardens will be open to visitors as well as the Rural Life Museum and ruined castle.

The planned trip to the American Museum is cancelled due to road closure. Instead we will visit Ilford Manor Estate, which aims to provide both tranquillity and inspiration to visitors. There is an award winning cafe with homemade cakes and savoury options. 

Full of variety, The Courts shows the English country style at its best. Water gardens, topiary and herbaceous borders demonstrate an imaginative use of colour and planting, creating unexpected vistas. Stroll through the arboretum with its diverse species of trees.
