Sales Table

At each monthly meeting, we have a Sales Table.  It works on a Bring and Buy basis:  members donate plants, divisions, seedlings  etc.     Before and after the lecture, other members have the opportunity to browse and buy.  In addition, the Organising Team buys wholesale bulbs in the autumn and spring to sell on to members.  Any profit made is used to boost Club funds.

Visits

We are planning to offer three day visits in June and July of 2022 if conditions allow.

We will be visiting Kew Gardens, Usk Open Gardens, and The American Museum and Courts.

Currently there are no plans to run residential trips in 2022 due to the uncertainty in what restrictions will be in place next summer.

Benefits

As well as monthly meetings, the Club publishes a quarterly Newsletter, giving news and details of events, and "Garden Club News" is emailed to members each month.

Club members receive a 10% discount on plant purchases at the Brackenwood Garden Centre (see Useful Links above).

Membership

Since we have not been holding meetings at St Monica’s in 2021, 2020 membership has been extended to include 2021. We hope to resume meetings later this year and will then ask 2020 members to renew their membership for 2022. Details will be sent out well before the resumption of meetings. Once members have had the chance to renew, those on the waiting list will be invited to join, until the membership limit of 230 is reached.
