Vanessa will recount the history of the National Garden Scheme and its links to Macmillan Cancer Support and other nursing charities. As County Organiser for the NGS in Gloucestershire, she is well placed to explain the criteria for including a garden; what makes it suitable and importantly, what it means for the garden opener.
Meetings
The Henleaze Garden Club usually meets on the first Wednesday of each month except for July and August. Meetings feature expert speakers who cover a range of horticultural topics.
Meetings are held at St Monica's main hall in Cote Lane. In parallel, we are offering live streaming to members for most talks.
All talks start at 7.30pm, doors open at 7pm.
